Sunday August 23rd 2015 Shadows Fall with- Carnivora, Oath,Caricature,Aversed,Still Well Angel 18 plus event 5pm doors Do not put the final nail in Shadows Fall's coffin just yet. Things looked pretty bleak for the band's future late last summer when they announced plans to take a hiatusfrom extensive touring and revealed their intent to play a "final" U.S. trek. And while a major tour is not in the offing, the group will be back on the concert stage this August. Earlier this year, guitarist Jon Donais, who has since gone on to find work in Anthrax, revealed that after years of struggling to find their place in the metal scene, frontman Brian Fair brought up the desire to spend more time at home with his family and living a more stable life. With the hiatus going into effect, guitarist Matt Bachand joined Act of Defiance and drummer Jason Bittner landed a gig touring with Flotsam and Jetsam. Donais told us in April, "Maybe Shadows Fall will be able to do some future one-offs, but there hasn't been anything on the table and everyone's going on with their lives." But the East Coast festival near the band's Massachusetts home base appears to be a good fit, and the schedules have lined up to allow for the band to get back onstage once again. Tickets will NOT be refunded for any reason. http://shadowsfall.brownpapertickets.com
